This isn't something i made. In fact it was a raw cast from a mold used on Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. I bought it a few years ago and never touched it, mainly because i had originally planned to have it chrome dipped. Turns out whatever resin it was cast in wouldn't have stood up to the process, so i hand painted it instead.
I spent a week spot filling it with u-pol polyester paste to get rid of any small holes or imperfections, gave it a wet sand, primed and painted.
The end result wasn't too bad...but i still wish it could have been chromed!
